Our company uses Seal Tite Powder Coated Screws that are painted under the fastener head where corrosion can start. This guarantees that the painted screw heads stay the same color as the panel. Many factors can cause movement or vibration with building structures which can cause slight gaps. While the fastener and sealing washer continues to protect from leaks, moisture will leach in between the two. If you don't use powder coated screws that are painted under the head, than corrosion will start. As an end result, the screw head will have lost all of its paint. This is why we use Seal Tite Powder Coated Screws.
